The one I loved most

The tale is about a guy from humble beginnings who after going to university meets a girl with characteristics which makes him feel like an underdog but as the author puts it “who can dare to fathom what fate forges for the destiny of his fervent love”.

The book is quite a short read(under forty) so you do not have much of an excuse of not reading it and with that in mind I won’t talk much about the story but I’ll straightly go to my thoughts about the book.

There is a natural tone to the narration which I quite like as it drops most of the grandiose descriptions of typical romance novels but it does not neglect the description of the feelings that accompany catching feelings for someone and all the stumbling blocks you can encounter. The emphasis on how little things tend to mean much in such a phase is also on point as merely a brush of hand excites all sorts of neurons in our protagonist.

I equally like the realist disposition of the protagonist and how he is somehow patient and takes his chances when they appear.

The author seems to over summarise in some instances and I feel that is something that can be worked on(unless the aim is to maintain the short story format)as it sometimes to underestimate the feelings at play and make the characters to resolute.

It would equally be nice to hear some perspective from the girls side as well( Maybe in volume two) because everything is being narrated by the protagonist at best.

I love that the story is also closer to reality than fantasy because to some extent despite chemistry and all things that bring lovers together there is a mountains or more which they have to scale together to prove and sometimes people are not given even a chance to try.

All in all the story is awesome and I am looking forward to the next volume.
